@Nevaeh2Die4 Erdingger I’ve had, but have not yet reviewed. I’ve had Franziskaner though, which is similar. Try it if you haven’t. Another great Hefe.

Yeah, “piss colored” might not be the best deion for a beer (at least a good one) :-)

That looks like great beer. You know I like my “yum yums”. Wheat, hops, and lemon-good stuff!

    Good review.

@crazybrody06 That’s a beautiful thing, although I don’t think Alpha King is an IPA, just a Pale Ale, which are very similar, but I’ll double check.

@FaustieMo Yes it was. It’s for review. I can’t wait, I’ve never tried it before. Coming soon!

I hate wheat beers, except this one. I am a huge hop head. I cant wait to see your alpha king review, it is a fantastic APA. Im lucky living in Indiana I have Gumballhead and Alpha king on tap at the bar next to my work.

if you like the bottle conditioned, check out some beers by Bell’s. Was that a two hearted ale in your fridge during the intro? Maybe you already have…

Excellent review man. That looked pretty good. I admit, I love hopps too. the more the better. I remember trying a double ipa one time. I don’t know that much about ales, only the particular tastes that I like. I thought the double ipa was excellent. And by the way, after watching your review on the Chocolate stout, I tried it. It was pleasantly smooth with, as you said, only a hint of chocolate. it was delicious! It was also the first beer I had where the tab falls into the beer for carbonation.

I’ve heard good things about that beer. I’m not a hop guy myself.

Mega Man intro music for the epic win!

    You have good taste, sir.

Cool review. I look forward to the spring and summer to enjoy some refreshing wheat beers. I like the german style wheat s with less hops & more spices, The american wheats seem to generally be more hoppy.
    Cheers!

does the priming sugar and water solution need to cool before adding to the bucket or can you just dump on in after it comes off the stove? thanks for your time!

  22. atlantabrewcrew 07. Jul, 2010 at 11:01 am #

Yeah, busted! I recently started racking all my beers. I didn’t usually rack but lately I’m doing it every time. Thanks for commenting :)

  23. MRCHUPKE 07. Jul, 2010 at 11:39 am #

That carboy is way to clean looking to be the primary. You must have racked it at some point.

  24. DoubleAgentBrasco 07. Jul, 2010 at 12:09 pm #

@bustedsas if you mix the sugar with the batch it is much easier than adding sugar to each bottle.

  25. DoubleAgentBrasco 07. Jul, 2010 at 12:14 pm #

Thats how I do it. I do like to use a secondary to clarify my beer though.

  26. bustedsas 07. Jul, 2010 at 12:33 pm #

I thought u put the sugar into the bottle then add the beer then cap it????
