    BILLY,

Where did you get the SS hose for your PVC sparge arm?

Is that a regular household washing machine hose?

I’ve been using cheap 7-gal bottling buckets fermenters. VERY easy to rack without transferring yeast because the bottling tap is 1/2 inch off the bottom. Just sanitize transfer tube & valve exterior prior to racking (no easy siphon). Gently tip bucket until cloud touches the inside valve opening. VERY easy to clean!

1-hr boil will remove all chlorine so no water filter is needed.

RIMS is awesome but expensive so I use a cooler Mash/Lauder Ton & batch sparge to KISS (hard to step-mash).
