Wine is easier to make than beer, but i have no motivation to sit around waiting for wine to age for six months to a year. I’d rather put this wine shit in a still, and distill it to moonshine, or just make beer.

Where are the vines located? Are you planning on making your own wine or selling the grapes?

  18. stoogemanstooge 28. Jun, 2010 at 11:26 am #

i inherted a 70 acre vineyard but knew nothing about it so every year i have billions of grapes that just rot on the vine…

You can’t really explain the entire wine making process in a 6 min. video.

Besides, making 150 bottles is in no way mass producing wine. This is pretty normal for someone making wine at home. Unless you are looking for a 2 step process for making wine, which I do think you can find on YouTube.

  21. katwoman61 28. Jun, 2010 at 1:06 pm #

Bummer..This is NOT what I wanted to see…This was not informative at all…If I wanted to mass produce, which our government won’t allow…it may help..

  22. vallo3838 28. Jun, 2010 at 1:46 pm #

I feel that you are not very informative video should be focus”ed on step by step
    procedure.sorry,vallo.

No its not illeagle. In most states you can make up to 100 gallons per year (per person) for your own consumption.

  26. bradmacaroon 28. Jun, 2010 at 4:33 pm #

Are you using a particular yeast or the natural yeast found on the grapes?

  27. oneclient 28. Jun, 2010 at 5:32 pm #

not illegal…you can brew homemade beer, wine, mead. Not booze though such as whiskey, gin etc.
